3:27pm – Crash at Highway 101 and NW Orcas St. Seal Rock Fire, Pacific West Ambulance enroute. Lincoln County Sheriff enroute. At least Two vehicles. One vehicle maybe on fire. Possible entrapment.
3:33pm – Central Coast Fire and Yachats Fire enroute. Requesting another medic.
3:36pm – one trapped. Three other patients walking around. Life Flight requested to the scene. Going to land them on the Highway. This has been declared a MCI. (Multiple Casualty Incident)
3:46pm – Life Flight is in the area. Will be landing soon.
3:48pm – Oregon Department of Transportation is enroute. Highway is closed at this time.
3:53pm – Life Flight has landed.
4:00pm – Yachats Fire enroute code 3 with first patient to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital trauma system entry.
4:08pm – trapped patient has been extricated, second Pacific West Ambulance enroute to hospital with patient. Still working extricated patient.
4:38pm – This has turned into a fatality. The highway 101 will be closed for and extended period of time. Life Flight has left the scene. ODOT will be taking over soon. Fire units will be clearing. Watch trip check for updates on when it opens. For now take Beaver Creek detour.
9:20pm – We just checked trip check and it is showing open as off this time.
