6:46pm – report of a head crash at Highway 101 and SE 84th. Newport Fire and Pacific West Ambulance enroute. Requesting Life Flight.
6:53pm – Fire and sheriff’s is onscene. Occupants appear out of the vehicles. One vehicle is on its side in a ditch.
6:55pm – Life Flight is available and 2 minutes to ready activated.
6:59pm – activating Life Flight for patient transfer at the Newport Airport.
7:01pm – Fire is closing Highway 101.
7:04pm – medics are transporting to the airport.
7:09pm – fire is leaving scene. Newport Police and Lincoln County Sheriff are still onscene and requesting tow trucks.
